Three Sisters

Directed by the illustrious Nancy Gabor, and staged at the beautiful Algonquin theatre near Union Square in Manhattan, Three Sisters was one of the spring's surprise hits, and a difficult ticket to get. PQ played a dashing Vershinin alongside a beautiful and talented cast of young actors.

PQ on Three Sisters: "For me the real privilege was being able to work with Nancy again [Nancy Gabor directed him in The Seagull three years prior.] She's been such teacher and an influence on everything I do. And really this was a perfect play for us to put up; it's such a young play, and I think it fits so well with our time and our generation, pining for greatness while secretly wanting leisure and contentment. In the end, though, Nancy just pushed us to be strong and truthful. Any success the play had was a reflection of just that."
